WOMEN'S RETREAT 2025

Ladies, come enjoy three days of worship, rest, laughter, connecting with old friends, making new friends, prayer, gorgeous sights, and discovering more about the character of God at The Crossing Church's annual women's retreat at Zephyr Point Conference Center on beautiful Lake Tahoe.  All women are welcome. 

OUR THEME

This year's theme is "Let Go."
Letting go is the act of surrendering control to God, trusting that He will guide and provide for you. Letting go is releasing anxieties and worries and letting God take the lead.

SPEAKER

Vanessa Shepherd defines her most heartfelt work as sitting around tables with those in need of being deeply known. Her outrageous laugh has been dubbed the sound of "the joy of the Lord" and can often be heard amid deep conversation. Since ministry, specifically discipleship, has always been near and dear to her heart- Vanessa began 20 years ago in ministry writing her way through life, loss, and the pursuit of holiness, inviting others on the journey to deep personal growth rooted in the Word. She has now authored two books and can be found pastoring alongside her husband on the Central Coast of CA. 

RETREAT HIGHLIGHTS

The retreat begins at dinner on Friday, October 3rd and ends before lunch on Sunday, October 5th. In addition to times of teaching, sharing, and worship, you will enjoy five delicious meals in the dining hall, and have plenty of free time to relax, laugh with ladies, go on a hike, sit and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, go into town, or even take a nap.  We want you to leave retreat renewed spiritually, relationally and emotionally.

LODGING

Accommodations consist of a hotel style room with 2 queen beds and a private bathroom or a cabin located across the street from the convention center.
