WOMEN'S RETREAT 2024

Ladies, come enjoy three days of worship, rest, laughter, connecting with old friends, making new friends, prayer, gorgeous sights, and discovering more about the character of God at The Crossing Church's annual women's retreat at Zephyr Point Conference Center on beautiful Lake Tahoe.  All women are welcome. You do not need to attend The Crossing to come to the retreat.

OUR THEME

This year’s theme is “Renew."  We will be spending the weekend pouring through 2 Corinthians 4.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." -  2 Corinthians 4:16

SPEAKER

Bronwyn Lea is a pastor, author, and ministry and leadership coach with Christine Caine's Propel Cohorts. Born in South Africa, where she went to law school and seminary, she has spent the last 20 years in Davis, California, where she's a pastor at her local church. She is the author of Beyond Awkward Side Hugs and is passionate about the church developing thriving relationships with God and with one another. She has contributed to Christianity Today, Relevant Magazine, Bible Study Magazine, and partnered with YouVersion and The Bible Project to create thoughtful and practical resources for the church. She eats too much ice-cream, stays up too late reading, and her favorite sound in all the world is her husband and three teen/tweens laughing.

RETREAT HIGHLIGHTS

The retreat begins at dinner on Friday, October 11th and ends before lunch on Sunday, October 13th. In addition to times of teaching, sharing, and worship, you will enjoy five delicious meals in the dining hall, and have plenty of free time to relax, laugh with ladies, go on a hike, sit and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, go into town, or even take a nap.  We want you to leave retreat renewed spiritually, relationally and emotionally.

LODGING

Accommodation consists of hotel style lodging with 2 queen beds per room with a private bathroom.
