Candidate Visit & Q&A
June 28th | 1PM - 2:30PM
We are grateful to share an important update in our pastoral transition process. After months of prayer, review, and conversation, the Search Committee has recommended a candidate to the Church Board. Following interviews and discussion, the Board unanimously approved moving forward with the candidating process.
The candidate will be with us on Sunday, June 28, to share a message during all three services, followed by a lunch and Q&A opportunity for our church family at 1pm. The following week, members will have the opportunity to participate in a congregational vote regarding the candidate's call to serve as our next Lead Pastor.
Thank you for your continued prayers, patience, and engagement throughout this process.

After 24 years of faithful service and dedication to building God’s kingdom, Pastor Kyle has announced that he, along with his wife and family, will be embarking on a new journey in Wisconsin. There, he will continue to share the gospel and inspire others in his new chapter of ministry.
The Crossing Church Board began the search for an interim pastor to guide us through the next season of our church's journey. After careful consideration, they decided to partner with Interim Pastor Ministries (IPM), a trusted organization with over 30 years of experience providing temporary pastors to churches in transition. IPM specializes in strengthening churches during transitional periods, helping them stay grounded and focused. Learn more about IPM below.
On their final Sunday with us, we gathered to honor the incredible impact our pastors have had on our community. With heartfelt appreciation, we celebrated their journey through a special luncheon, thoughtful gifts, and cherished memories. Stories were shared, laughter echoed, and our hearts were full as we wished this remarkable family all the best as they begin a new chapter in Wisconsin.
After thoughtful prayer and discernment, the church board and staff are pleased to announce the appointment of Pastor Paul Edwards as our interim pastor.
A Search Committee was formed, consisting of members of our congregation, to begin the process of reviewing pastoral candidates.
After prayerful review and interviews, the Search Committee recommended a candidate to move forward for consideration by the Church Board.
Following the interview process, the Church Board unanimously approved moving forward with the candidating process.
