How it all started:
A number of years ago, Pastor Kyle and Kelly felt a strong, undeniable call from God to move from Southern California to North Sacramento. It wasn’t an audible voice, but a deep, soul-stirring sense of direction they couldn’t ignore. They had a plan—but that plan changed more than a few times along the way. One thing remained constant, though: God’s unwavering call and His faithful provision.
What started as a small home Bible study grew into Sunday gatherings, which eventually took us through 8 different locations over 11 years before landing where we are today. And even now, we know that this is not our final destination, because the Church is not defined by a building—but by a community of people.
Through it all, our joy in the journey has never wavered, and our dependence on Jesus has remained our foundation. We’re excited for what’s next, knowing that God is always leading us forward.

Where We are Headed:
After 24 years of faithful service, Pastor Kyle and his wife will be transitioning to Wisconsin. Their leadership has deeply shaped The Crossing Church, and we are profoundly grateful for the lasting impact they’ve made in our community. While we will certainly miss them, we are excited to send them off with love, honor, and blessing as they begin this new chapter of their journey.
During this time of transition, we are actively searching for a new long-term pastor who will continue the mission and vision of The Crossing Church. In the interim, we are welcoming an interim pastor who will provide steady leadership, care, and guidance as we navigate this period of change.
