1. Why is Pastor Kyle leaving The Crossing Church?
Pastor Kyle has been called to a new chapter in his life and ministry. After 24 years of faithful service, he and his wife will be moving to Wisconsin, where they will continue to follow God's call. Although it is difficult for him to leave the church family he has built over the years, Pastor Kyle is trusting God in this new season.
2. When was Pastor Kyle's last Sunday at The Crossing Church?
Pastor Kyle's final Sunday with us was on June 1st. We are grateful for his leadership and the many years of love and dedication he has shown our church.
3. What is an Interim Pastor and why are we having one?
An Interim Pastor is a temporary leader who helps guide a church during a transition period. The Crossing Church has hired Interim Pastor Ministries (IPM) to provide leadership, support, and spiritual care while we search for a long-term pastor. The interim period will help us navigate this time of transition with stability and clarity, ensuring our church continues to grow in faith and community.
4. How long will the Interim Pastor be with us?
The Interim Pastor will be with us for up to two years, though it’s more likely that their role will last around 12-18 months. This time will give us the opportunity to heal, adjust, and carefully search for the next long-term pastor who will lead The Crossing into the future.
5. Will the Interim Pastor be the permanent replacement for Pastor Kyle?
No, the Interim Pastor is not a candidate for the long-term role. They are here to support the church during this transition period and help guide us through the next season of growth and change. They will not be the permanent replacement for Pastor Kyle.
6. How will the church be involved in the search for a permanent pastor?
The Board, in partnership with IPM, will lead the search for the permanent pastor. The church community will be updated regularly on the process and will have opportunities to provide input and prayer support as we seek God's direction for the next leader of The Crossing.

They specialize in providing interim pastors who are equipped to walk alongside churches in seasons of change.
